EssilorLuxottica: acquires Cellview Imaging

(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica announces the acquisition of Cellview Imaging Inc, a Canadian start-up that is based in Toronto, which designs and manufactures innovative, high-performance diagnostic imaging instruments based on solid in-house R&D expertise.


Already distributed in North America, its solutions enable eyecare professionals to diagnose retinal pathologies using an ultra-wide-field retinal camera capable of capturing high-quality images of the entire retina.

Cellview's product offering has been FDA-approved and CE-marked. It targets a broad market - from point-of-sale consultations to ophthalmology clinics - and is ready for distribution in various regions, starting with Europe.
