BNP Paribas: EU approves Arkolia Energies joint acquisition

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of Arkolia Energies by BNP Paribas Asset Management Europe ('BNPP AM') and Mirova Energy Transition ('MET 6'), all three of which are based in France.


The transaction mainly concerns the renewable energies sector.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market position of the companies concerned resulting from the proposed transaction.
