Safran: agreement with India's TEAL to produce in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Safran Aircraft Engines has signed a contract with Titan Engineering and Automation Limited (TEAL), a major player in the Indian aerospace industry based in Bengaluru, for the production of parts for the LEAP engine's low-pressure turbine.


This first partnership between the two companies draws on TEAL's technological expertise, and will boost LEAP production capacity in India.

Production of the first parts will start in 2026.

This contract is in line with the Indian government's 'Make in India' policy, designed to support the country's aeronautical growth.
