GE Vernova: commissioning of Bushy Park CT power plant
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces that Dominion Energy's Bushy Park Combustion Turbine (Bushy Park CT) began commercial operation on November 1, 2024 in South Carolina.
The 52 MW facility is the first in the world to use GE Vernova's LM6000VELOX solution, designed to reduce the time and cost of installing LM6000 gas turbines. Two other units are under construction for Dominion Energy in Parr. Replacing older, state-of-the-art units, they will ensure flexible, solar-compatible production.
