Eutelsat: H1 net loss jumps
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat reported a E873.
2m net loss for H1 2024-25, up from just E191.3m a year earlier, mainly due to an impairment of goodwill on GEO assets. On a LFL basis, the satellite operator nevertheless boasts an adjusted EBITDA margin of 55.2%, stable y-o-y, and operating revenues of E600m, up 3.9%. Eutelsat confirms its sales and adjusted EBITDA margin targets for FY 2024-25, although gross investment forecasts have been reduced by around E200m, to between E500m and E600m.
