Eutelsat: sharply widened net loss for 1st half-year
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat reported a net loss attributable to the Group of 873.
2 million euros for the first half of 2024-25, up from 191.3 million euros a year earlier, mainly due to an impairment of goodwill on GEO assets.
On a like-for-like basis, the satellite operator nevertheless boasts an adjusted EBITDA margin of 55.2%, stable year-on-year, and operating revenues of 600 million, up 3.9%.
Eutelsat confirms its sales and adjusted EBITDA margin targets for the 2024-25 financial year, although gross investment forecasts have been revised downwards by around 200 million euros, to between 500 and 600 million.
