Nexans: 27% increase in annual net income

(CercleFinance.com) - Cable manufacturer Nexans has reported a 27% increase in net income to 283 million euros for 2024, as well as a 21% increase in adjusted EBITDA to a record 804 million, representing a margin improvement of 1.
2 points to 11.4%.

It posted standard sales of 7.1 billion euros, up 8.7% (+5.1% organic), with an acceleration in the electrification business (+13% organic), 'thanks to early strategic investments and value-added solutions'.

The Board of Directors has decided to propose to the AGM on May 15 the payment of a dividend of 2.60 euros per share for 2024, an increase of 13% 'testifying to its confidence in the Group's prospects'.

For fiscal year 2025, Nexans expects to achieve adjusted EBITDA of between 770 and 850 million euros, and free cash flow of between 225 and 325 million euros.
