NRJ Group: towards a European challenge
(CercleFinance.com) - Reacting to the French Conseil d'Etat's rejection of its appeal against ARCOM's decisions, NRJ Group has announced its intention to 'have the irregularity of these decisions declared at European level, and to obtain compensation for the significant damage they have caused'.
As a reminder, on Wednesday afternoon the Conseil d'Etat validated ARCOM's decisions to oust its NRJ 12 channel from DTT and to freeze, during the procedure, the four frequencies made available by the withdrawal of the Canal + Group's pay-TV channels. A meeting of the NRJ Group Board of Directors will be held on February 27 to examine the negative impact of this eviction from DTT on the activity of its television division, and the action plan to be put in place in response.
