Imerys: FY net income from recurring operations up 8%
(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys reports net income from continuing operations for 2024, group share, up 8.
2% to E262m, with adjusted EBITDA of E675m, in line with its forecast, representing a 1.1-point improvement in its margin to 18.7%.
Sales fell by 5% to E3.6bn, but rose by 0.9% in organic terms, with a continued recovery in volumes, driven by additional production capacity, new product launches and commercial initiatives.
At the AGM on 13 May, the Board of Directors will propose a 7.4% increase in the ordinary cash dividend to E1.45 per share, representing a payout ratio of 47% of its net income from recurring operations, in line with last year.
The group of mineral specialties for industry believes that its sales volumes should continue to grow in a global economic environment that remains uncertain, with its priority remaining cost control and cash generation.
