Air Liquide: 2024 EPS up 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide reports EPS of 5.
74 euros for 2024, up 7.3% as reported, with a group operating margin of 19.9%, up 110bp, excluding the record energy effect.

The industrial gas supplier's sales fell by 2% to less than E27.1bn, but posted comparable growth of 2.6% (including a +1.9% contribution from Argentina), with all Gas & Services businesses reporting growth.

At its AGM on 6 May, a dividend of E3.30 per share will be proposed for 2024, up 13.7%. The stock will become Ex-dividend on 19 May, with the dividend be paid from 21 May.

Ahead of its target of 320bp over four years (2022-2025), Air Liquide has again raised its ambition for margin improvement excluding the energy effect, over an extended period of one year, to +460bp over 2022-2026.
