Schneider Electric: RBC raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - RBC announced on Thursday evening that it has raised its target price for Schneider Electric shares from E210 to E225, while renewing its 'underperform' rating on the stock.

The broker acknowledges that the world leader in low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment yesterday unveiled 'solid' annual results, with earnings ahead of expectations and a better-than-expected outlook.

According to RBC, this is the first time in two years that the group's results have been on a positive trajectory, although it points out that the 2024 profit was ultimately 3% below the consensus that prevailed at the start of the year.

We continue to see Schneider as a quality company operating in buoyant markets, but we do not perceive the degree of differentiation necessary to justify the premium at which the stock is currently trading, the analyst concludes.
