Holcim: name chosen for future North American company

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim announces that, following completion of its planned spin-off, its North American operations will be combined into a new company called 'Amrize', a name combining the two concepts 'ambition' and 'rising'.


'North America's leading foundation-to-roof construction solutions company', Amrize will have its shares listed under the symbol 'AMRZ' on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with an additional listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

The Amrize name and branding will take effect with the completion of the demerger, expected by the end of the first half of 2025, subject to shareholder approval and other customary approvals.
