Danone: agreement with three NGOs on plastics

(CercleFinance.com) - At the end of a mediation process ordered by the Paris Court of First Instance on January 9, 2023, Danone announces that it has reached an agreement with ClientEarth, Surfrider Foundation Europe and Zero Waste France, bringing an end to the proceedings brought against it.


This agreement is based on an enrichment of Danone's plan, which now describes in greater depth the consequences of the use of plastic packaging and details all the actions that the group is implementing in this area.

Danone will continue to act with determination to encourage the collective mobilization of all players, private and public, without whom it is impossible to remove the systemic obstacles that are holding back the emergence of a circular economy', it affirms.
