Ericsson: strengthened partnership with Bharti Airtel in India

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson announces that it has strengthened its long-standing partnership with Indian operator Bharti Airtel.


The new collaboration aims to deploy Ericsson's secure, high-performance 5G Core solutions for the benefit of Airtel's millions of customers and businesses across India.

This collaboration will enable Airtel to gradually migrate to a large-scale, fully operational 5G Standalone network, offering advanced 5G capabilities to its customers.

As part of the agreement, Ericsson will deploy its Signaling Controller solution within Bharti Airtel's network.

In addition, Ericsson's Standalone 5G-enabled billing and policy management solution will be introduced. These new capabilities represent a strategic lever for Bharti Airtel's monetization of 5G, facilitating the development of new business models.
