AXA : 11% increase in annual net income
(CercleFinance.com) - AXA reports an 11% increase in net income to E7.
9bn for 2024, reflecting a 7% rise in operating income to E8.1bn, and an 8% increase in total gross written premiums and other revenues to E110.3bn.
The insurance company points out that the 7% growth (at constant exchange rates) in operating income was primarily driven by property-casualty insurance (+10%) and asset management (+11%), ahead of life and health insurance (+4%).
The Board of Directors is proposing a dividend of E2.15 per share, up 9% and corresponding to a payout ratio of 60%, while approving a share buyback program of E1.2bn for this year.
Provided the current operating environment is maintained, management says it is 'convinced that the group is well positioned to achieve the key financial targets of the Unlock the Future plan.
