Eni: adjusted net income slumps in Q4

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces a 46% drop in adjusted net profit in Q4, to E892m, despite a 1% increase in hydrocarbon production.


Adjusted EBIT (proforma) came in at E2.7bn, down 28% y-o-y.

Eni reports FY hydrocarbon production that rose 3%, with adjusted EBIT (proforma) of E14.3bn (-20%) and adjusted net profit of E5.26bn (-37%), below the consensus.

2024 was an exceptional year of growth and value creation for Eni, underpinned by our financial framework and cost discipline, it says.

Management says that the exceptional level of performance resulted in pro-forma adjusted EBIT of E14.3bn and adjusted cash flow of E13.6bn, both well above [the] plan.

The company will publish its financial and operational targets for 2025, as well as its strategic plans, at a financial market update scheduled for 2pm today.
