Allianz: 10% increase in annual net income

(CercleFinance.com) - Allianz reports a 10.
1% increase in core shareholders' net income to E10bn for the past year, as well as an 8.7% increase in operating income to E16bn, supported by all business segments.

The German insurer's total business volume rose by 11.2% (+11.9% organic) to E179.8bn, with its life/health business the main growth driver, with a strong contribution also from its property-casualty segment.

On the strength of our solid foundations, we enter 2025 with confidence, said CFO Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre, with the group targeting operating profit of E16bn, give or take a billion, for the current year.

Management will propose a dividend per share of E15.40 for 2024, up 11.6%, and announced a new share buyback program of up to E2bn the previous day.
