Nokia: completes acquisition of Infinera Corporation

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces that it has completed the acquisition of Infinera Corporation, which will be integrated into the Optical Networks division.


This operation will strengthen Nokia's position in optical networks and accelerate its innovation in the face of AI requirements.

David Heard, former CEO of Infinera, joins Nokia as Director of Strategic Growth 'Network Infrastructure'.

The merger extends Nokia's global reach to more than 1,000 customers, including operators, enterprises and institutions.
